Description
The EPA Research Climate Fellowships Call 2024 is now open for applications! This program offers up to four fellowships to postdoctoral researchers from accredited Irish institutions. Fellows will contribute to the EPA’s Climate Programme and support vital climate policy work.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is an independent agency of the United States government established on December 2, 1970, by President Richard Nixon. Its primary mission is to protect human health and the environment by enforcing regulations based on laws passed by Congress. The EPA oversees a wide range of environmental issues, including air and water quality, hazardous waste management, and chemical safety. Eligibility
- Eligible Countries: Researchers must be affiliated with Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) or Research Performing Organisations (RPOs) in Ireland.
- Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for research related to climate change, as outlined in the EPA’s Climate Fellowships Call 2024.
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
- Have at least two years of postdoctoral research or equivalent experience.
- Be employed by an eligible HEI/RPO at the start of the Fellowship.
- Commit to attending an EPA office (Wexford, Dublin, or Cork) on a 50% basis during the Fellowship.
