Applications are being accepted from outstanding students for the International Fully Funded EPSRC DTP PhD Scholarships in Positronium Spectroscopy. This study programme is organized by the University of Kent for the academic session 2022/2023.

This scholarship program seeks to support individuals who aspire to make a significant impact on global food systems and marine health through innovative research. The program aims to develop novel in vitro techniques to investigate host-parasite interactions in shrimps, contributing to advancements in marine pathology and fostering sustainable practices in shrimp farming worldwide.

Eligibility

 

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the University of Kent.
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
    • Hold a minimum of a 2:1 degree and/or a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject.
    • Demonstrate experience or interest in cell culturing, bioinformatics, and/or fieldwork.
    • Show enthusiasm for working at the interface of wet-lab and fieldwork.
    • Possess a willingness to learn new skills and contribute to the field of marine pathology.
