Huddersfield Business School Open Scholarships in UK

For providing financial support to needy students, the University of Huddersfield is awarding Huddersfield Business School Open Scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025.

This scholarship covers a full fee waiver for all successful applicants and an annual stipend of £3,500 (FT PGRs), which is reduced to 50% (i.e., £1,750 annually) for PT PGRs. The stipend is subject to PGR candidates making satisfactory academic progress and engaging fully with the research programme.

• Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the Huddersfield Business School.
• Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Hold a distinction at the Master’s level of study
  • Submit a cover letter, CV, research proposal, MSc mark transcript, and two letters from referees before the application closing date
  • The cover letter should outline the reasons for applying, the contribution to Huddersfield Business School’s research themes, and the qualities to contribute to the research communities
  • The research proposal should include a title, introduction, literature review, aims and objectives, methodology, proposed data, and references
  • Provide the names and contact details of two academic referees
  • Successfully complete the Teaching Assistant Preparation Programme (TAPP) and other necessary training.
