Ohio State University is providing Huntington International Fellowships to high-achieving candidates for the academic session 2024-2025. This scholarship is offered each spring semester.
The Huntington International Fellowship aims to support undergraduate humanities students interested in international business and world languages. The program allows students to spend an extended period abroad to enhance their language fluency, cultural understanding, and knowledge of international commerce. An academic component involving intermediate to advanced language study or coursework is required.
Ohio State University (OSU) is a public research university located in Columbus, Ohio. Founded in 1870 as a land-grant university, it is one of the largest universities in the United States with nearly 50,000 undergraduate and 15,000 graduate students. OSU offers over 200 undergraduate majors and 400 degree programs across its 16 colleges. The university is a member of the Association of American Universities and has produced 6 Nobel laureates, 9 Rhodes Scholars, and 104 Olympic medalists among its alumni and faculty.

Program Coordination
Coordination and administration are provided by the OSU Center for Languages, Literatures and Cultures. Working with The Huntington National Bank, the appropriate OSU world language department, the OSU Office of International Affairs, and others, applicants will identify programs in the target country that provide linguistic and academic advancement, as well as work or internship experiences in a commercial business environment. Courses and internships must be conducted in the target language. Preference is given to students studying at an advanced language level.
Awards vary in amount and can be used to cover travel, tuition, and living costs, starting at $500.00.
