KTH Royal Institute of Technology is offering postdoctoral research positions within the Networked Systems Security (NSS) group at the EECS/SCS department. The positions are aimed at highly motivated individuals with a strong background in networked systems security and privacy.

To be eligible, applicants must have a doctoral degree or equivalent obtained within the last three years, along with significant research expertise in network or computer security and/or privacy-enhancing technologies.

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Hold a doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline (exceptions for special reasons such as sick or parental leave).
  • Demonstrate significant documented research expertise in network or computer security and/or privacy-enhancing technologies.
  • Possess proficiency in written and spoken English, and have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Show strong motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Preferred qualifications include teaching abilities, documented student supervision, and awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, especially regarding gender equality.

  • Recommendation letters: Detailed contact information for at least two references.
  • Statement of purpose: Discuss your motivation and research interests, preparation (studies, technical knowledge, research experience, etc.), future goals, and how they relate to and complement research within NSS (maximum two pages).
  • Full list of publications.
  • Representative publications: Up to three documents, up to twenty pages each (for longer documents, provide an abstract and a web link to the full text).
