Japan Research Scholarship Duration:

• MEXT Master’s Degree Program: 2 to 3 Years
• MEXT Doctoral Program: 3 to 4 Years

Benefits of MEXT Japan Scholarship 2025:

• A tuition fee will be provided.
• Airfare allowance will be provided.
• An exam fee will also be provided.
• For Master’s students, a monthly stipend of up to 144,000 yen will be provided.
• For doctoral students, a monthly stipend of up to 145,000 yen will be provided.
• For non-regular students or preparatory education, a monthly stipend of up to 143,000 yen will be provided.

• Applicants who have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree can apply.
• Applicants who are pursing bachelor’s or master’s degree in Pakistan can also apply.

MEXT Scholarship Applicaiton Process 2025:

1. Mark Sheet Form.
2. MEXT Scholarship Application Form (1 original)
3. Research Plan
4. Attested Copy of Degree (Hope Certificate) and Transcripts
   • If you have already graduated from an undergraduate program: Submit the academic transcript from your undergraduate program.
   • If you have completed a graduate degree: Submit transcripts from both your undergraduate and graduate programs.
   • If you are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree: Submit an academic transcript that covers your study period up to the most recent term for which grades are available.
   • If you are currently pursuing a graduate degree: Submit transcripts from both your undergraduate program and your current graduate program (up to the latest term).
5. Attested copy of certification of graduation or degree certificate of university attended. (1 copy with original attestation)
   • If you have graduated from an undergraduate program: Submit a graduation certificate from the undergraduate program.
   • If you have graduated from a graduate program: Submit graduation certificates from both the undergraduate and graduate programs.
   • If you are currently studying in an undergraduate program: Submit a certificate of expected graduation from your undergraduate program.
   • If you are studying in a graduate program: Submit both a graduation certificate from your undergraduate program and a certificate of expected graduation from your current graduate program.

Submission of documents to Japan Embassy or Consulates in Pakistan.

• Do not staple your documents. Use a paper clip to keep them together.
• Print all your documents on A4 size paper.
• Only submit the required documents. Extra documents will not be considered.
• Make sure all copies are properly attested.
• Submitted documents will not be returned, so keep copies for yourself.
