The PhD positions in Scaling Circular Consumption at Wageningen University & Research aim to lead innovative social science research contributing to circular society transitions in the Netherlands. The program is designed to explore how social contexts can support repairing and sharing practices in diverse urban settings. Through the ShaRepair project, funded by NWO, the program seeks to embed sustainable sharing and repairing practices into daily urban life, addressing challenges in participation and scaling across communities.

- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as sociology, human geography, anthropology, urban studies, or other relevant social science disciplines.
- Have strong qualitative research skills, including experience in conducting interviews and participant observation.
- Fluency in English and Dutch to conduct academic research and effectively engage with local Dutch stakeholders and communities.
