The 2026 POSCO Asia Fellowship is a scholarship in South Korea offered by the POSCO TJ Park Foundation for Asian students who wish to pursue Master’s and PhD degrees at South Korean universities. This POSCO Scholarship is exclusively for STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), and they will select 50 students who are of Asian citizenship only. There are nine top universities in South Korea associated with the POSCO Fellowship. After being selected for the fellowship, applicants can apply to up to three of these universities. There is no application fee for the scholarship. South Korea is increasingly becoming a popular destination for international students, and the government aims to attract even more, intending to host 300,000 international students by 2027. Note: Applicants who have graduated from a university in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States, or the United Kingdom are exempted from the English Proficiency Test.
It is also said by the POSCO that the applicants can select up to three universities listed below, which are in alphabetical order and do not denote any ranking or preference.
