POSCO Asia Fellowship 2026 in South Korea (Fully Funded)
Description
The 2026 POSCO Asia Fellowship is a scholarship in South Korea offered by the POSCO TJ Park Foundation for Asian students who wish to pursue Master’s and PhD degrees at South Korean universities. This POSCO Scholarship is exclusively for STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), and they will select 50 students who are of Asian citizenship only. There are nine top universities in South Korea associated with the POSCO Fellowship. After being selected for the fellowship, applicants can apply to up to three of these universities. There is no application fee for the scholarship. South Korea is increasingly becoming a popular destination for international students, and the government aims to attract even more, intending to host 300,000 international students by 2027. Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must plan to pursue a degree in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
- Applicant must be an Asian Citizen.
- Those who have earned a bachelor’s degree are eligible.
- Applicants must apply to an eligible university (listed below).
English Language Requirements
An applicant must also meet any ONE of the following English Language requirements:
- TOEFL: 550
- IELTS: 6.0
- TOEIC: 750
- New TEPS: 327
Note: Applicants who have graduated from a university in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States, or the United Kingdom are exempted from the English Proficiency Test.
