To be eligible, applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program at UniSA.

Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the University of South Australia.
Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or hold a Permanent Humanitarian visa.
Be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program.
Placement must be a minimum duration of 110 hours (19 days) or more in a continuous block.
Placement must be confirmed within the InPlace placement system.
Relocate from a metropolitan location to a rural or remote location, or vice versa, for the placement.
Demonstrate financial disadvantage.
Not have received the UniSA Placement Grant before and not be in receipt of any other placement grant.
How to Apply
Applications open four times per year: January, April, July, and September. Students should apply prior to the commencement of their placement and only when the placement is confirmed in the InPlace system. Applications can be lodged via my Scholarships in the student portal:
